Dr. Jennifer McGehee is the founder of Balanced Family Wellness in Newnan, Georgia. She has been in practice since 2010 after graduating from Life University in Marietta, Georgia. At Life University, she worked with the top pediatric chiropractic specialists in the field. Dr. Jen’s commitment is to listen to your concerns, allow you to make the best decisions for yourself and your family regarding health. She offers an honest and compassionate approach to helping your achieve your health goals and express your full potential.
Dr. Jen has a strong commitment to the vitality of the members of our community and is very involved in the Chamber of Commerce and local non-profit organizations. She frequently speaks to members of the community, develops wellness packages for large companies, and makes guest appearances on the radio. She enjoys caring for those in the Newnan, Peachtree City, Fayetteville, Senoia, and surrounding communities.
Dr. Jen lives in Newnan and enjoys traveling the world looking for the next mountain to hike or a new reef to dive. She is an outdoor enthusiast and enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her dog, Ava.
Dr. Aimee Trust is very excited to join the Balanced Family Wellness team! Dr. Aimee is a graduate from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, Florida where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She is passionate about chiropractic care and the ways it can optimize health, and looks forward to serving the community. Dr. Aimee received a Bachelor's of Science in Health Promotion and Nutrition Education, which brings an additional perspective to the care that she delivers. Dr. Aimee is dedicated to providing the best chiropractic care and is committed to improving the health of the community.
Dr. Aimee recently relocated to the beautiful town of Senoia, Georgia where she enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs. She loves to travel, especially to visit with her family and friends, and loves to practice yoga. As an outdoor enthusiast, she can be found hiking, fishing or relaxing by the campfire.
Practice Manager - Donna was born and raised in Georgia, and graduated with a B.S in Business from The University of North Georgia. She joined Balanced Family Wellness because she believes in the natural healing of the body, and knows Chiropractic care plays a significant role in your health. Prior to moving to Sharpsburg, Georgia Donna worked for St. Mary's Health Care Systems in Athens, Ga. for over 15 years. She was the Director of Organizational Development which allowed her to be involved in numerous areas of healthcare to streamline processes and improve services. She is excited to be working with Dr. Jen, and enjoys interacting with all of their clients. In addition to her career she has taken a deep interest in alternative health, and enjoys learning the many benefits that she can share with others. Donna moved to this area to be with her new husband, and they have 3 children who keep them busy with Marching band and sports. She enjoys being outdoors, traveling, football, and spending time with her family and friends.
Taryn KinkelaarMassage Therapist
Massage Therapist - Taryn attained her certifications from Cortiva Institute of Chicago Massage School. Taryn is specialized in Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Integrative Reflexology, & Hot Stone massage. Taryn has been a massage therapist for over 8 years, and believes in the body's ability to heal itself and utilizes her expertise to assist in this process. Over the years, she has specialized in helping many people find relief from head, neck, shoulder, and back pain. Taryn adjusts each massage to the individual client, and will provide a very specific massage to meet her client's needs.
Lumel SrhileyMassage Therapist
Lumel has been working as a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist since 2008. She graduated from Cortiva Institute of Massage in Seattle. She is knowledgeable in Prenatal/Postnatal Massage, Hot Stone, Himalayan Hot Stone, Deep Tissue, Swedish, NMT, and Myofascial Release.
Lumel likes to help patients get back to a more pain-free life, where they can move more freely, feel happier in their bodies, and be able to do all the things that they want to do. She provides customized treatment plans based on the doctor's recommendations and takes into account her own knowledge of the human body along with what the patient's needs are.
In Lumel's free time she enjoys the beach (as she grew up in Hawaii), Disney, and spending time with her family. She enjoys tennis, dancing, yoga/meditation, walking, and her favorite food is Thai food!
